"Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." Matthew 4:19 "Everything is permissible for me" - but not I Corinthians 6:12 everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me" - but I will not be mastered by anything. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither Isaiah 55:8-9 are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.["] "There is no peace," says my God, "for the Isaiah 57:21 wicked." "We must go through many hardships to enter the Acts 14:22 kingdom of God," they said. And where there is no law there is no Romans 4:15 transgression. [B]eing confident of this, that he who began a Philippians 1:6 good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. [B]ut those who hope in the Lord will renew their Isaiah 40:31 strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint. [F]or all have sinned and fall short of the glory Romans 3:23-24 of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. [F]or everyone born of God has overcome the world. I John 5:4 This is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith. God's gifts and his call are irrevocable. Romans 11:29 [H]e is a double-minded man, unstable in all he James 1:8 does. [I]f this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue II Peter 2:9 godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishment. [I]n order that Satan might not outwit us. For we II Corinthians 2:11 are not unaware of his schemes. The kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:21 [O]ne Lord, one faith, one baptism[.] Ephesians 4:5 A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born Proverbs 17:17 for adversity. A voice of one calling: "In the desert prepare Isaiah 40:3-5 the way for the Lord; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, and the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all flesh will see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken. A word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in Proverbs 25:11 settings of silver. Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the Proverbs 4:23 wellspring of life. Above all, love each other deeply, because love I Peter 4:8 covers over a multitude of sins. Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him Genesis 15:6 as righteousness. All men will know that you are my disciples if you John 13:35 love each other. All of us have become like one who is unclean, and Isaiah 64:6 all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away. All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for II Timothy 3:16-17 teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. All things have been committed to me by my Father. Matthew 11:27 No one knows the son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the son and those to whom the son chooses to reveal him. Although they claimed to be wise, they became Romans 1:22-23 fools. And afterward, I will pour out my spirit on all Joel 2:28 flesh. Your sons and daughters will prophesy; your old men will dream dreams; your young men will see visions. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with Ephesians 4:30 whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has Romans 5:5 poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit whom he has given us. And my God will meet all your needs according to Philippians 4:19 his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as II Corinthians 11:14 an angel of light. And the peace of God, which transcends all Philippians 4:7 understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. And we know that in all things God works for the Romans 8:28 good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do Colossians 3:17 it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the father through him. And without faith is it impossible to please God, Hebrews 11:6 because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Anyone who knows the good he ought to do James 4:17 and doesn't do it sins. As it is written, "There is no one righteous, not Romans 3:10 even one[.]" As it is written: "I have made you a father of Romans 4:17 many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed - the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were. Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks I Thessalonians in all circumstances, for this is God's will for 5:16-22 you in Christ Jesus. Do not put out the spirit's fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to what is good. Avoid every kind of evil. Be kind and compassionate to one another, Ephesians 4:32 forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly father is Matthew 5:48 perfect. Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the I Peter 5:8 devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, Hebrews 2:18 he is able to help those who are being tempted. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, John 14:19 but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is I Timothy 3:16 great: He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory. But even if we or an angel from heaven should Galatians 1:8 preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: Romans 5:8 While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for II Corinthians 12:9 you because my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was Isaiah 53:5 crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will John 12:32 draw all men to myself. But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, Joshua 24:15 then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the river, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. But if you fail to do this, you will be sinning Numbers 32:23 against the Lord; and you may be sure that your sin will find you out. But in your hearts acknowledge Christ as the holy I Peter 3:15 Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But our citizenship is in heaven. Philippians 3:20 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, Matthew 6:33 and all these things will be given to you as well. But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the Romans 7:8 commandment, produced in me every kind of covetous desire. For apart from the law, sin is dead. But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, Galatians 5:22-23 patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not consider his I Samuel 16:7 appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." But the man who has doubts is condemned if he Romans 14:23 eats, because his eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin. But the one who does not know and does things Luke 12:48 deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show II Corinthians 4:7 that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. But wisdom is justified by all her children. Luke 7:35 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a I Peter 2:9 holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit Acts 1:8 comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Can a mother forget her nursing child and Isaiah 49:15-16 have no compassion on the son of her womb? Though she may forget, I will not forget you. See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are always before me. Cast all your anxiety upon him because he cares I Peter 5:7 for you. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, Matthew 11:28-30 and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; Isaiah 55:1 and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you James 1:2-3 face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Dear children, let us not love with words or I John 3:18 tongue but with actions and in truth. Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers I Peter 2:11 in the world, to abstain from fleshly desires, which war against your soul. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you Psalms 37:4 the desires of your heart. Do not be deceived; God is not mocked. A man Galatians 6:7 reaps what he sows. Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For II Corinthians 6:14 what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to Ephesians 5:18 debauchery. Instead, be filled with the spirit. Do not judge, or you too will be judged. Matthew 7:1 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your Ephesians 4:29 mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Be doers of the word and not hearers only, James 1:22 deceiving yourselves. Don't you know that in a race all the runners I Corinthians 9:24-27 run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath; but we do it to get an imperishable one. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified. Do your best to present yourself to God as one II Timothy 2:15 approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. Don't let anyone look down on you because you are I Timothy 4:12 young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity. God loves a cheerful giver. II Corinthians 9:7 Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of II Timothy 2:3 Christ Jesus. Even a child is known by his actions, by whether Proverbs 20:11 his conduct is pure and right. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming James 1:17 down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty Ephesians 6:10-11 power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man I Corinthians 6:18-20 commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God with your body. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be I Corinthians 15:22 made alive. For even when we were with you, we gave you this II Thessalonians 3:10 rule: "If a man will not work, he shall not eat." For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to I Thessalonians 5:9 receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but II Timothy 1:7 a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline. For God is not a god of disorder but of peace. I Corinthians 14:33 For God so loved the world that he gave his John 3:16-17 only-begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. For in Christ all the fullness of the deity lives Colossians 2:9-10 in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor Galatians 5:6 uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. For it is by grace you have been saved, through Ephesians 2:8-9 faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. For sin shall not be your master, because you are Romans 6:14 not under law, but under grace. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating Romans 14:17 and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but I Corinthians 4:20 of power. For the law was given through Moses; grace and John 1:17 truth came through Jesus Christ. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven I Thessalonians 4:16-17 with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. I Timothy 6:10 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God Romans 6:23 is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in I Corinthians 3:19 God's sight. As it is written: "He catches the wise in their craftiness." For there is one God and one mediator between God I Timothy 2:5 and men, the man Christ Jesus[.] For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, Isaiah 9:6 and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting father, prince of peace. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to Hebrews 4:15 sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are - yet was without sin. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of II Corinthians 5:10 Christ, so that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or evil. For we were all baptized by one spirit into one I Corinthians 12:13 body - whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free - and we were all given the one spirit to drink. For where two or three come together in my name, Matthew 18:20 there am I with them. For who makes you different from anyone else? I Corinthians 4:7 What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not? For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a Romans 8:15 slave again to fear, but you received the spirit of adoption. And by him we cry "Abba, father." Give and it will be given to you; a good Luke 6:38 measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured to you. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in John 4:24 spirit and in truth. [God] made him who knew no sin to be sin for us, II Corinthians 5:21 so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to II Corinthians 7:10 salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. He has made us competent as ministers of a new II Corinthians 3:6 covenant - not of the letter but of the spirit; for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life. He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what Micah 6:8 does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. He is before all things, and in him all things Colossians 1:17 hold together. He who finds a wife finds what is good and Proverbs 18:22 receives favor from the Lord. Freely you have received; freely give. Matthew 10:8 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will Mark 13:31 never pass away. Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full I Timothy 1:15 acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners - of whom I am the worst. Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with II Timothy 2:11-13 him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he will also deny us; if we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot deny himself. His divine power has given us everything we need II Peter 1:3 for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. How can a young man keep his way pure? By living Psalms 119:9 according to your word. How great is the love the father has given I John 3:1-3 us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him either. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure. As it is written: "No eye has seen, no I Corinthians 2:9-10 ear has heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man, what God has prepared for those who love him" - but God has revealed it to us by his spirit. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will James 4:10 lift you up. I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the Romans 1:16-17 power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith." I am not saying this because I am in need, for I Philippians 4:11 have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is Jeremiah 32:27 anything too hard for me? I am the vine, you are the branches. If a man John 15:5 remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. I can do everything through the one who gives me Philippians 4:13 strength. I consider that our present sufferings are not Romans 8:18 worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer Galatians 2:20-21 live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the flesh I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness [could be gained] through the law, Christ died for nothing! I have fought the good fight, I have finished the II Timothy 4:7-8 race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end Job 19:25 he will stand upon the earth. I know, O Lord, that a man's life is not his own; Jeremiah 10:23 it is not for man to direct his steps. I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me John 14:12 will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave John 8:34 to sin. I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat John 12:24 falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth Matthew 18:18 will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in I Timothy 2:8 prayer, without anger or disputing. I write these things to you who believe in the I John 5:13 name of the son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we Romans 14:8 die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask Matthew 21:22 for in prayer. In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life II Timothy 3:12 in Christ Jesus will be persecuted[.] In fact, the law requires that nearly everything Hebrews 9:22 be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, John 3:3 unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of god." In the beginning was the word, and the word was John 1:1-5 with God, and the word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. In the past God spoke to our forefathers through Hebrews 1:1-2 the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the world. In the same way, let your light shine before men, Matthew 5:16 that they may see your good deeds and give glory to your father in heaven. It has always been my ambition to preach the Romans 15:20 gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else's foundation. It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of Hebrews 10:31 the living God. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Galatians 5:1 Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I John 2:19 will raise it again in three days." Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and Hebrews 13:8 forever. Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: "Any Luke 11:17 kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall.["] Jesus replied, "No one who puts his hand to the Luke 9:62 plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God." Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own Luke 9:60 dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God." Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless John 6:53 you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you." Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this John 9:39 world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind." Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. John 11:25-27 He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" "Yes, Lord," she told him, "I believe that you are the Christ, the son of God, who was to come into the world." ... man is destined to die once, and after that Hebrews 9:27 to face judgment ... Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you Colossians 3:16 teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. Let us then approach the throne of grace with Hebrews 4:16 confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Let your conversation be always full of grace, Colossians 4:6 seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. Look! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone Revelation 3:20 hears my voice and opens the door, I will go in and eat with him, and he with me. Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love Romans 13:10 is the fulfillment of the law. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my Psalms 19:14 heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. ... man's anger does not bring about the James 1:19-20 righteousness that God requires. My dear children, I write this to you so that you I John 2:1-2 will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the father - Jesus Christ, the righteous one. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they John 10:27-30 follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my father's hand. I and my father are one. My son, if sinners entice you, do not give in to Proverbs 1:10 them. The joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10 Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means Galatians 6:15 anything; what counts is a new creation. No doubt there have to be differences among you to I Corinthians 11:19 show which of you have God's approval. No man can serve two masters. Either he will hate Matthew 6:24 the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. No one can come to me unless the Father who sent John 6:44 me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. No temptation has seized you except what is common I Corinthians 10:13 to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. Not everyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," will Matthew 7:21 enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my father who is in heaven. Not many of you should become teachers, my James 3:1 brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. Nothing outside a man can make him unclean by Mark 7:15 going into him. Rather, it is what comes out of a man that makes him unclean. Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and Hebrews 11:1 certain of what we do not see. Now the Lord is the spirit, and where the spirit II Corinthians 3:17 of the Lord is, there is freedom. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more Ephesians 3:20-21 than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Now to the king eternal, immortal, invisible, the I Timothy 1:17 only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen. Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is II Corinthians 5:1 destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not made with hands. On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus John 7:37-38 stood and said in a loud voice, "If a man is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do John 14:27 not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. We must obey God rather than men. Acts 5:29 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one Acts 2:38-39 of you, in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off - for all whom the Lord our God will call." Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of Psalms 116:15 his saints. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Romans 13:14 Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no Acts 4:12 other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set Colossians 3:1-4 your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. "Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit," Zechariah 4:6 says the Lord of hosts. So I say, walk in the spirit, and you will not Galatians 5:16 gratify the desires of the flesh. So if the son sets you free, you will be free John 8:36 indeed. So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Colossians 2:6 Lord, continue to live in him[.] What is seen is temporary, but what is unseen II Corinthians 4:18 is eternal. Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the James 4:7 devil, and he will flee from you. Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to Isaiah 59:1-2 save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket; Isaiah 40:15 they are regarded as dust on the scales; he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Psalms 34:8 That if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Romans 10:9 Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. The god of this age has blinded the minds of II Corinthians 4:4 unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. The good man brings good things out of the good Luke 6:45 stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the abundance of his heart his mouth speaks. The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond Jeremiah 17:9 cure. Who can understand it? The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies Psalms 19:1-3 proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. The law was added so that the trespass might Romans 5:20 increase. But where sin increased, grace increased even more. The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make Numbers 6:24-26 his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. The Lord is my light and my salvation - whom shall Psalms 27:1 I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid? The Lord replied, "My presence will go with you, Exodus 33:14 and I will give you rest." The Lord says to my lord: "Sit at my right hand Psalms 110:1 until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." The man without the spirit does not accept the I Corinthians 2:14 things that come from the spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. Romans 13:12 So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a Psalms 51:17 broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. The sins of some men are obvious, reaching the I Timothy 5:24 place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them. In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not cannot be hidden. The spirit of the sovereign Lord is upon me, Isaiah 61:1-2 because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn[.] The thief comes only to steal and kill and John 10:10 destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of II Corinthians 10:4-5 the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. The word became flesh and lived for a while among John 1:14 us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the only-begotten of the father, full of grace and truth. The word of God is living and active. Sharper Hebrews 4:12 than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Then he said to them, "Watch out! Be on your Luke 12:15 guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions." Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to Matthew 9:29 your faith it will be done to you[.]" Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority Matthew 28:18-20 in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age." Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He John 6:35 who comes to me will never hunger, and he who believes in me will never thirst." Then Jesus said to them, "Give to Caesar what is Mark 12:17 Caesar's and to God what is God's." Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, Acts 3:6 but what I have I give you: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk." Then you will know the truth, and the truth will John 8:32 set you free. There are six things the Lord hates, seven that Proverbs 6:16-19 are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies, and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers. There is a way that seems right to a man but in Proverbs 16:25 the end it leads to death. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives I John 4:18 out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The man who fears is not made perfect in love. Therefore he is able to save completely those who Hebrews 7:25 come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: Isaiah 7:14 The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. Therefore, I urge you brothers, in view of God's Romans 12:1-2 mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - which is your spiritual worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new II Corinthians 5:17 creation; the old has gone, the new has come! Therefore, since we have been justified through Romans 5:1 faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ[.] Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those Romans 8:1-2 who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. They claim to know God, but by their actions they Titus 1:16 deny him. They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you Acts 16:31 will be saved - you and your household." This is love: not that we loved God, but that he I John 4:10 loved us and sent his son to be the propitiation for our sins. This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice Psalms 118:24 and be glad in it. To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who Titus 1:15 are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I I Corinthians 9:22 have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. To them God has chosen to make known among the Colossians 1:27 Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not Proverbs 3:5-6 lean on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders Psalms 127:1 labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. All things are FROM him and TO him and Romans 11:36 THROUGH him; to him be glory forever. Amen. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41 We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though II Corinthians 5:20 God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. We walk by faith, not by sight. II Corinthians 5:7 We who are strong ought to bear with the failings Romans 15:1 of the weak and not to please ourselves. What, then, shall we say to this? If Romans 8:31-39 God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own son, but gave him up for us all - how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died - more than that, who was raised to life - is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Whatever your hand finds to do, di it with your Ecclesiastes 9:10 strength, for in the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom. When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I John 8:12 am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." When you pass through the waters, I will be with Isaiah 43:2 you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To Romans 14:4 his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed John 1:12-13 in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born not of blood nor the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. Yet when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, for I Corinthians 9:16 I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! You are all children of light, children of the day. I Thessalonians 5:5 We are not of the night or the darkness. You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt Matthew 5:13 loses its taste, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory Revelation 4:11 and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup I Corinthians 10:21 of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord's table and the table of demons. You search the Scriptures because you John 5:39-40 think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life. You have let go of the commands of God and are Mark 7:8 holding on to the traditions of men. You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; Isaiah 55:12 the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with Jeremiah 29:13 all your heart. The one who is in you is greater than the one who I John 4:4 is in the world. You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass Romans 2:1 judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the I Peter 5:5 humble. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours Philippians 2:5-13 in Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death - even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the father. Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed - not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence - continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my Psalms 119:105 path.
